Bernie Bierbaum
President and CEO

Bernie has worked in real estate-related businesses including property management, land development, and construction for over 30 years. A Londoner born and raised, he has devoted his professional life to building his city from the ground up.

Over the past 25 years, Bernie has also contributed to development policies and ethics in the Forest City and beyond as a member of the Canadian, Ontario, and London Home Builders Associations. He is also a former member of the London Development Institute.

While receiving his RPA from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Bernie developed over four million square feet of industrial, office, and residential rental properties. In 2000, he was the first person in southwestern Ontario to receive the Certificate of Management Excellence Award from BOMA (Toronto Chapter) for the Talbot Centre project –an 800,000 square foot office, retail, and multi-residential property.

Bernie was also awarded a national Ethics in Action Award in recognition of good corporate citizenship in 2001. In 2004, he was named president of the London Chamber of Commerce.

Norman Keith
Vice President – Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Norman draws on over 20 years of industry experience to oversee our Office and Industrial/Commercial portfolios. He is responsible for operations at all of our properties, from day-to-day management to service.

Norman has worked as a facilities supervisor for retail and wholesale facilities in the oil industry, and as a property manager for both strip and enclosed shopping centres. He was also property manager at Huron Park, a 760-acre complex with an airport, industrial building, and 760 residential homes.

Norman holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. He is a former board member and president of the London Ski Club.

James Perry
Controller

Jim is in charge of BlueStone’s accounting, finance, and administration. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is a member of both the Certified General Accountants of Ontario and the Certified General Accountants’ Association of Canada.

Jim’s resume includes over eight years in the property management industry as an accounting supervisor and controller. He also has extensive experience working with renters and owners of different property types. Before joining BlueStone, he was part of the team that performed the first condominium amalgamation in Middlesex County.

Bill Amos
Property Manager

As property manager for BlueStone’s multi-residential division, Bill is responsible for budgeting, marketing, maintenance, and staffing at our apartment buildings.

Bill is a Certified Property Manager with over 25 years of experience in the industry. During his career, he has worked extensively in the residential and commercial sectors, and has been a third party manager for various companies and government agencies.

Bill’s influence is felt throughout the industry thanks to his position as a former president and current director of the London Property Management Association. He also coaches recreational and competitive soccer teams in his community.
